At the time of the call, tenant stated she is giving her 60 day notice and offered a payment arrangement to suffice past due balance until paid in full. Tenant did not opt to abandon or move out without notice, however the leasing office has harassed the tenant for payment, and The management opted to publically humiliate and retaliated against the tenant by placing a large orange notice on the front door facing front to common side for all walk-thru guests and neighborhood apartment community to read openly about and see the tenant financial distress. The note was facing front for anyone and everyone to be able to walk by and read the tenant�s financial business with the leasing office, violating her privacy rights. Tenant did not opt to abandon or move out without notice; however the leasing office has harassed the tenant, publically defamed her character even when the tenant had already previously spoken on the phone to the property manager and provided a 60 day notice to quit her lease

Apparently they must not have accepted your arrangement. unless you have the agreement in writing they would not be bound by the plan. posting a summons and/or three day notice is required by law. obviously it can cause distress but the action is not the basis for a cause of action.
