Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

When our Corvette Club holds a meeting in Florida, our secretary records the meeting (so as to get facts straight and names, motions, etc correct). Do we need to announce that the meeting is recorded? S. Welch

Persons who are in a public place don't have an expectation of privacy. But, this does not sound like a public meeting. You would be smart to announce that the meeting is being recorded, or have the recorder out in the open.
