Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

dental office told my wife they accept our insurance. she had procedure done, we got the bill & paid a portion(co-pay/deductible??) & left. few weeks later receive a bill for unpaid portion from ins. come to find out, yes they take our ins. but are " not " in network!! we were " not " informed of this from the beginning. wife supposedly signed something (waiting for a copy) saying we would be responsible for anything not paid by ins. co. feel we are not responsible because we were not told they were not-in-network. think we were "deceived"??? need advice on my rights.
