Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

My mother had her hip replaced two weeks ago and now has one leg that is one inch longer than the other. Prior to the surgery her legs were even. The physical therapists and nurses have commented on this and say it must be addressed right away. She goes Monday to have the stitches taken out. How should she approach this situation?

Leg length discrepancy is a problem associated with hip replacements. Have your doctor address the issue now. it is not malpractice until your mother has a permanent injury due to the negligence of the surgeon. Don't wait for that to happen. Seek medical help and intervention now.
