Amount to be expected

Your question is not "amount of liability" but amount of damages. Liability is whether the other person was negligent and they probably were. Damages is what you can recover. I would recommend you contact a local personal injury attorney ASAP. Recoveries vary greatly across this state. There is no "maximum" recovery, yet, but the legislature has passed a damage cap and sent it to the Governor. The governor has not yet decided whether to sign it or not. If he does any recovery may be lowered. See a local attorney ASAP.
