If I am the victim in a burglary battery, can i go to defendants home to offer settlement prior to making official statement with County attorney?

huh? you want to go talk to the alleged criminal to get a settlement? what does the County attorney have to do with it ? you need legal help to determine what is the best cause of action. I would not meet with anyone before speaking to an attorney.
