Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

In a deficiency lawsuit after foreclosure of my primary residence in Florida, if I can prove in court that the appraised value of the property at sale date was $250,000 while the Final Judgment for Foreclosure, including interest to sale date, was $225,000, will the court award me the difference of $25,000 or does the bank get to keep that profit? How do the courts rule in that situation though it may be rare? Do I have a legal right to that profit?

Thank you.

Patrick

The deficiency claim if any belongs to the lender. You cannot assert it.
