Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Can a Florida rental residence charge me more then two months rent if I were to cancel my lease agreement early if we have agreed on two months rent amount lease buyout. Since I did not tell them 60 days in advance they want to charge me 4 months rent to cancel the agreement.

If the lease requires 60 days notice, yes.

Your lease agreement controls. If it allows termination with 60 days notice you have to give that. If there is this right, it would seem you can give notice and not be responsible for more than the current rent and two more months OR a total of 3 months. Your question is confusing on how the 4 months was determined.
