Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I live in a deed community. I applied and received proper permission to change the power source of a front yard light frm gas to electric in writing. I change the source, Now a new BOD and ACC have rescinded the approval. Is this legal. I have search the Florida statues and our documents . But cannot find any reference to rescinding a prior approval. Lenny

They should not be able to undo their approval or, if they do, they will need to pay for the cost to change it back.
