Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have a mortgage in my name but my name is not on the deed. How can I get the mortgage out of my name? Owner refuses to refinance. Can I sell? Or forfeit my loan?

Since you are not the owner, you cannot sell. You can stop paying the mortgage, but it will effect your credit rating.

The mortgagee would have to release you that is the only way to have your name removed. Why are you on the mortgage and not on the deed? You need legal help.
