Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I want to get rid of my real estate broker. She is doing nothing. My contract is up January 17th, 2017. Can I get out without paying her or Caldwell Banker Real Estate?

Yes. First contact the supervising broker and advise them that your realtor is not working for you and you want out of the listing agreement.

You may also contact the Department of Real Estate and file a complaint.

Your listing agreement controls the terms. You need to review it to determine what obligations the broker assumed and what is actually being done. You should contact the broker to discuss it. without putting in some time to review these matters, you likely are not going to be able to just get out of it.
