Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have a Warranty Deed Dated October 10, 1991 granting my wife and I her parents home in Citrus County, Florida. I registered it with Citrus County, Florida in 1997.

We got divorced.

Last year my ex signed back her rights to her parents. My ex in laws tried to get me to sign my righs back, but I refused.

The question is Do I or will I own the home upon my ex in laws death?

It depends on the nature of the deed. In any event, they can sue to partition and force a sale.

Unless it states "joint with right of survivorship", no. You each own an undivided one half interest.

If I follow you correctly, you now own one half of the home and your ex-inlaws now own one-half of the home. I'd have to see the deeds to be sure, but I'd be almost certain that, if they pass away, you'll still own your half and their hiers will own the other half.
