Re: Failing to pay a toll

I can only give you a general answer as I need more facts about your case to be more specific.

Is this a toll on a bridge or highway in your county? Did you go through a manned toll booth without paying? Or, is the toll you refer to for a meter? These are needed facts.

If you went through a toll booth, your tag number may have been recorded. This may be a misdemeanor crime. A capias for your arrest may be issued. You may receive a notice to appear in court. The State may suspend your drivers license. Perhaps, nothing will happen out of this. I really do not know enough to give a legal opinion.

You may want to contact the Clerk of Court or the div. of drivers licenses for the county where this occured.

'Hope this helps. Tom Rosenblum
