me and a friend got pulled over by 2 cops, i was the passenger, they searched the car and found open beer bottles and .3 of weed, i didnt know the weed was in the car, they are trying to get us with possesion and open container, what shuold i do

Simply put, you and your friends EACH need a lawyer. It may be difficult for them to prove it was yours if you have an attorney. However, the prosecutor could say that it was jointly and constructively possessed and you are therefore guilty. You face up to a year in jail and a 2-year driver's license suspension, so having an attorney is crucial.
