Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My daughter and I have lived with my father for the last five years. His wife had died and he could not live on his own and did not want to move to assisted living. My father claimed my daughter as a dependent on his tax return each year. He recently died but she was not included in the will when it was written. Does she have any legal rights to benefit because only his children were included in the will?

She had no independent entitlement even as his Dependent to a share of his testate estate absent being named in the will. Sorry for your loss
