Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Was injured on the job about 3 weeks ago. Spoke to worker's comp a week ago they return my call this week saying that the doctor that I've been going to isn't part of their list so they can't recompensate me for what I have spent.. Is this the way they handle things??

They can transfer your care to a doctor they authorize. However, if you requested medical care before you went to this doctor and they did not timely provide care, wc is responsible for the bills. They would also be responsible for any emergency care.
