was hurt in 2001 had surgery in 2005 now need back surgery can i go after old woke comp insurance

Maybe, if you have received authorized medical care for the 2001 injury or received indemnity compensation for that injury in the past year, you can consider the case open and ask for medical benefits related to that accident. If you have not had care or received money in the past year you MAY be outside the statute of limitations. You will need to speak to a Florida Bar Board Certified Workers' Compensation lawyer to find out if your situation is an exception to the 1 year rule.
