Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I'm a salaried manager however I'm out on workmans comp. my employer called and wants me to come back to work even with my restrictions and they.want to pay me min wage for hours worked and the insurance company pays the difference I have never heard of such can you help me out is that legal?

If you go back to work within restrictions and earn less than 80% of the preaccident wages, then the w/c carrier is responsible for 80% of the difference between the new wage and the old. The first 20% of the reduction in wages is on you. The w/c that is paid is not taxable.
