Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Georgia

Appealing

I recently filed suit in GA - Superior Court. Due to the nature of the suit, I filed also filed--name removed--motion to proceed under pseudonym, while providing the court with an affadavit of identity. The judge denied the motion, and gave me 30 days to amend the complaint, while holding on service of complaint, or it will be dismissed.

Though I have yet to find any relating GA cases, I am well supported in federal cases, the Supreme Court, and other states. I want to appeal the order.

Is the Court of Appeals the correct court of jurisdiction vs. the Supreme Court of GA?

Is it directly appealable, or do I need--name removed--certificate of review from the Judge?

And finally, is this kind of appeal an interlocutory, discretionary or what kind of appeal?

Re: Appealing

You have posed a rather complexe appellate problem and its answer is well beyond the scope of LawGuru. I noticed it was posted on 5.14.2001; thus, your time to appeal may have expired. However, if this is still a viable issue and you wish to pursue it you may discuss this matter with my partner (Dwight Meredith) for a fee. He does most of the appellate work for this firm. His number is 404.633.4100x4 his email is [email protected] Hugh Wood
