Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

Divorce & Restraining Order

I filed for a divorce and got a restraining order in Georgia. Now we no longer want a divorce. How do I get all the paper work dropped/stopped? I do not want to get into trouble by just doing nothing in writing if I need to do something to be sure this is all stopped. Will ignoring it make it go away or do I need to get the lawyers to draw up more paper work to stop the divorce and restraining order? We never went to court. I just filed a week ago.

Re: Divorce & Restraining Order

Speak to the lawyer you hired to represent you in the divorce proceeding about what to do about the divorce action and the restraining order. I assume the lawyer is the one who actually filed your suit in court a week ago. Therefore, your case is still open and until you release the attorney, questions regarding your divorce and restaining order should be directed to him or her.
