Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

If a debtor is not paying as was mediated in Magistrate Court (he has missed 2 out of 5 pmts) and a FIFA has already been filed a few months ago, what is the next step? The mediation occurred in Paulding County, GA; I was given to understand that if the debtor tries to sell property, vehicles, etc., that the FIFA is effected and any monies owed would be collected at that time. I am unable to verify if the debtor has a checking acct that could be attached. He does have vehicles and is buying a home in Paulding County. Also, if an attorney is necessary to go forward with this issue, does he/she have to be in Paulding County?
