Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I filed suit against my ex fianc after discovering she had been cheating and lying for years for breach of the promise to marry. I am 100% certain she is planning to file for a TPO against me by making false claims of abuse. She did this once before, in 2011, but since she dropped it and we got back together, I didn't do anything about it. So two questions- 1) what is the statute of limitations on filing a false report in Georgia? and 2) is there anything I can legally do before the fact instead of after I am (inevitably) served?

This sounds like a frivolous suit (you can't sue in Georgia for breach of promise and cheating in a relationship). When she gets a lawyer, she will likely seek, and has a good chance of getting, legal fees and damages for frivolous litigation. The courts are not a toy for broken hearts, and the way to dispute a TPO is to get a lawyer IF one is filed. Before you do something this dangerous and foolish again, see a lawyer. You may see one TODAY to see if you can get your case dismissed BEFORE it gets served - that may save you.
