Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

i was involved in a hit and run i didnt see the guy he came out of now where he got up and run away at the time i didn't have my ID on me so i went home to get my ID but then i got so sraced that i didn't go back the cops came to my house talk to me i told them what happen they even wanted to lock me up but the witness could not i identity me the guy got the ticket for jay walking i didn't get a ticket but know i got subpea to appear in court as a witness for the police do i have anything to worry about im really scared

You are clearly a person that panics easily. You did not see the person enter the roadway. You did not have your driver's license. You panicked when you got home, so you did not go back. You are panicked about going to court. So, you need to just go and turn in your license, and find someone else to drive you around, before you panic and flee from the police when they want to stop you for going 10 mph over the speed limit.
