Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was put on probaction for prosecution under a ounce of marijuana with 1 year on Monday. Today 2 detectives came to my house about a ipad I stole 2 months before from my pool moderating job "only because she never paid me" but I still did wrong. The amount is 700, they did not take me to jail today because I told them the truth, but I might not be able to get it back. What is the charge for theft & is it a probaction violaction. The owner is 7 years old, witch I did not know at all at that time & they say it's up to her if I'm charged. What is going to happen to me...

Any crime is grounds to revoke probation whether or not you are prosecuted. It was extremely foolish for you to post an admission to your crime in great detail here on the internet where police, prosecutors and your PO can read it. Stop doing that and pray they don't see this. Since ytou could land in prison, you need to get a lawyer - immediately. You may want to ask Law Guru if they would take down your confession, although it could already be too late.
