Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I reside in Cobb county Georgia, and had a question reguarding , if a police officer is guessing that a person with a probation violation of suspended license conviction issued by Woodstock Georgia is in the residence and knocks at that residence door and wakes up the entire complex, is operating outside of his legal rights and in addition can that officer obtain a search warrant over night to enter that residence. The apartment has no record of the probation violater on its lease, and do the lease holder have to open the door?

Yo obviously leave out most of the important parts of the story, so response based only on part of the story won't do you any good. In addition, if the events already happened, there is no reason to ask "can" they happen, because they already did. Obviously, someone who gets in trouble multiple times needs to discuss this with her/her criminal lawyer.
