The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals (which includes GA) has held that a prevailing federal employee may not recover his/her attorneys' fees under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Lewis v. Federal Prison Industries, Inc., 953 F.2d 1277 (11th Cir. 1992). Compensatory damages, such as for emotional distress, are unavailable under the ADEA. Muoz v. Oceanside Resorts, Inc., 223 F.3d 1340, 1348 (11th Cir. 2000).
