Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Our 18 year old daughter left to live with her boyfriend. She only took a suitcase with clothes that she packed. She then came back and got a few more things. There are some things that She wants, but we don't want her to take (Stereo, Tv, other things that were given to her at some point in time). Do we have to give her anything, since she is the one who left? Can she get the police to make us give her those things?

If you refuse to give her the items you've committed a theft, can be arrested or sued, and can go to jail.
