Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

custody

I was given physical and legal custody of my 2 children. About 2 yrs ago I thought it was best for my daughter to go back to her mother.Well when she had the papers drawn up and the order was signed stating monifaction of custody for the mother to have physical custody. my question is sense my papers said physial and legal when i got them, but when she got the 1 back it only said physial, does this mean i still have legal custody of my daughter or at least joint legal? i am asking because the mother refuses to tell me anything about my daugher wont evn let me talk to her or see her. I have tried to get info from her theripist but they said they cant tell me anything without her mom saying it is ok.

please let me know if i have legal rights to get info and if i do indeed still have legal custody of my daughter even though her mom has physail custody.

thank you

randy

Re: custody

Do you have any visitation rights with your daughter? If so, then you can file a contempt action to enforce those rights. To answer the specific questions asked, more information will be needed. Contact my office for further consultation on these issues.
