Ex-husband's Dui Convictions and custody of our daughter

I have permanent custody of our daughter and we have joint legal custody, but my ex-husband has received two dui's in a six month period and one one occassion he had visitation of our daughter and did not inform me about it until 3 months later i don't even know where she was at the time it happened, Can he lose visitation rights because of being so irresponsible?

His conduct MIGHT authorize a judge to put limitations on his visitation. Consult with a local attorney.
