Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I filed a TPO on my boyfriend and he was served. We talked and decided to work things out for our son. Tomorrow we have court and I dont know what to do. I have already filed for a dismissal on the TPO myself. How can I get the TPO dropped and will I get in trouble?

Go to Court and tell the Judge that you have worked it out. Write down your agreement, both of you sign it, and have the judge sign an Order to that effect (that way it will be official)

I'll give you the answer you don't want to hear and don't believe it applies to you - hospitals, shelters and cemeteries are full of people (mostly women and children, of course) who decided to ignore violence and threats to "work it out" one more time. This is usually the message many judges give someone in your situation.
