Can a Plea in Absentia be filed in a Georgia Domestic Violence case? Currently reside in Florida.

I assume this is a civil action wherein the Petitioner is requesting a protective order. If you were served and don't show up for the hearing, a 12 month order will probably be entered against you. Not sure why something was filed here if you reside in Florida. In any event, I suggest you speak to an attorney.
