i have recently filed for divorce; do i have temporary custody of the minor children until we go before a judge?

No. Both parents have equal rights until a Judge determines custody. I suggest you speak with an attorney.

It is extremely alarming that you did something on your own without knowing what you were doing. If your child's apopendix burst would you claim the expertise to operate? Then why would you file something pro se that will affect the children forever without a lawyer? Get one Monday - not soon - Monday. You are way over your head. If you studied so little that you don't know simple basics (your spouse has custody the same as you do), how are yoiu going to conduct a trial, do ADR, do the support worksheets correctly (attorneys take whole courses just to learn how), serve and answer discovery, set temporary hearings, do the support addendum, write a parenting plan. Pro se cases with children go badly close to 100% of the time and going without a lawyer can mean losing a custody case you might win. You have made an enormous life-changing mistake. Fix it ASAP.
