Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

How do I stop my ex from taking me to court over custody of my son after the court have granted it to me?

2yrs ago my ex told me to come get my son and I did. Last year I met my so to be wife and she my ex file court papers to get my son back she said she wants him back. But I along with the judge feels he's where he needs to be. Now ever month I'm back in court to prove my household is fit. My fiance had to do a background check and I'm having to pay $150 a month in court fees to fight to keep him. What can I do to end this. My son has spoken to the counselor appointed by the court stating that he wants to live with us. His grades in school have improved tremendously & he adores my fiance and her children. And she loves my children as I do her's.

Your question tells me how badly you have mishandled your case. Why would you risk your child to thinking you are a lawyer? You create a huge disadvantage for yourself each day you continue to refuse to hire a lawyer. Do that today. It matters a great deal.

An attorney would be able to tell you if she has grounds to file or not. If not and it is frivolous, you can request attorney fees for defending the action. You need to hire an attorney and quit trying this on your own.
