Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am an unmarried single mom living in Atlanta. My daughter's father is NOT on the birth certificate and we have not signed any documentation acknowledging paternity. I have never filed for child support. He has seen my daughter once as a newborn (she is almost 3). He is homeless, has a record, and is unable to raise a child. What is the likelihood of him being awarded any type of custody, or visitation, if he does decide to pursue it? And secondly, is there anything I can do as a preventative measure so this doesn't happen?

Aalmost 100% of the time if he seeks to legitimate the child he will get visitation or some custody rights and he will also be made to pay support.

You can move and not tell him where you are if you feel he's a threat to you and your child, etc
