Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Where do I start getting my record from 1993 expunged in Dekalb County Georgia? It was a bad check charge that the judge ordered to mediation and we settled on amounts. No dismissal was ever recorded. This was settled 20 years ago but has now come up again.

Maybe. To get a misdemeanor removed from your criminal history in Georgia, you must not have been convicted of the crime. Convictions may not be removed, unless they were indeed misdemeanors and they were committed before you were age 21. If you were actually convicted or pled to the crime, then you cannot get an expungement.
