Can an unsecured credit card company garnish my wages?

Yes, but they have to reduce what you owe them into a Judgment. You will be notified of the lawsuit and have an opportunity to file a response. The garnishment would come typically thirty (30) days after the Judgment has been entered or anytime thereafter.

Yes, once they sue you.
If you owe a lot and can't pay you may want to see a lawyer such as myself to file bankruptcy if you are eligible. That could get rid of the debt.
