In the state of GA does an employer have to give you a reason for terminating you?

No, an employer does not have to give you a reason for termination. In fact, absent a contract to the contrary, an employer may fire an employee for any reason at all, unless it is an illegal reason (including, but not limited to, age discrimination, race discrimination, etc.).
