Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I recently (this week) accepted a position with a company, then decided I did not want to work for them after all, before having started work. I signed a non-compete agreement with them, and they refused to give me a copy of the signature page, (can they do that?)and even told me the corporation's atty. would be altering it (a major reason I decided to decline employment). I would really like that signature page, and all other original documents that I signed as part of the new-hire package. Can I legally demand these documents? Since I never actually worked for the company, or received training, access to clients, etc., is the non-compete enforceable?

You can "legally demand" anything you want. That does not mean they have to give it to you. You should always get copies of all important documents right when you sign them to avoid this very situation. As far as the non-compete, obviously we don't have the document to review and we don't know a single provision in the document. It is possible it is still enforceable, though generally it would be more difficult to enforce if you never worked there (for failure of consideration or perhaps other reasons). To get opinions on a contract, you need to have the contract.
