Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I am living in an apartment complex and have signed a year long lease. I have been there about 6 months now and the gate system has only worked a few times. The gates are currently broken and have been for about 2 weeks now. I have emailed them a few times and have never received a response or any indication that they actually acknowledged my concerns. I was just wondering if there were any legal measures I could take in order to correct the situation, or just simply get out of my lease.

You failed to tell us the important details -- what your lease has to say about a gate, or any obligation of the complex to maintain the gate. A standard apartment lease will likely include no obligation to maintain things like gates or amenities like pools and exercise rooms. We don't have your lease.
