Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

false accusation

My wife is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and wishes to pursue her Masters in Nursing.

She has been falsely accused of battery, even though she was innocent, the police arrested her and she has been assigned a hearing. Even though the hearing will prove that she was innocent, she has a question regarding the arrest , Will itl follow her throughout her career and keep her from being hired in a nursing position. Will this black mark be against her record forever even though she is innocent? When applying for a job and they pull up her clearance record, will it show she was arrested and will it clarify beyond a shadow of doubt she was innocent. and if this affects her future employment, what can be done about it?

Re: false accusation

The arrest may cause her some problems. However, there may be a way to minimize the damage. Also, she may well have a defamation case against whomever made the false accusation. Consult with a local attorney. If you would like to call me, feel free to do so.
