Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

What happens if the Plaintiff's case is dismissed (with Prejudice) for not attending pre-trial conference and I still have a counterclaim open? Does my case still go to trial or should I request some type of default judgement? How do I explain what I want as damages?
