Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Durring a police chase Georgia State Patrol rammed a car into my parked vehicle and shoved it into my building causing damage to my vehicle and building. Total damage to vehicle and building should be about $5000. What can or should I do. The guy has several violations and was driving on suspended license.

The odds are high that the driver has no insurance or assets. You'll probably have the fewest headaches if you let your homeowner's insurance and your car insurance (hope you have full coverage) deal with this. Potentially you could attempt a claim with the state, but there are a lot of hoops, you'd likely need a lawyer and you might not get paid.
