Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I have been evicted after foreclosure without any writ of dispossessory or any other documentation. I was at the settlement stage of a court case when this took place. I had a cash offer presented to the bank and did not get a reply. Who is liable, the Sherrif and/or the Bank?

The Sheriff would not likely have come and evicted you without a court order, and they would have had it with them. You indicate that a court case was pending, and there is no obligation for the other party to agree to a settlement or even reply (though it is certainly courteous and Judges expect courtesy). There is no "settlement stage" of a court case. If you missed a deadline or hearing, you lost the case. Something is missing with the story.
