Legal Question in Securities Law in Georgia

Negligent Stockbroker

I discovered that my stockbrocker (for several years) had been terminated from his company for alcohol abuse. He had been discovered with alcohol on his breath during work hours on different occasions. Subsequently he was send to get a drug/alcohol test and failed. Is the company liable for not letting me know immediateley of his condition if they knew about it for some time. I was never told all of these detais; I found out through his ex-girlfriend. The brokerage company simply handed over my account over to another stockbroker with no explaination.
