Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

credit card was paid off 4 years ago. We have been sued and provided evidence to plantiff's attorney to prove this. After having evidence for 6 weeks, plantiff's attorney claims they have'nt reviewed and judge puts off rulling for another 6 weeks. Is this right
