Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
I was served with a summons from a debt collector on behalf of a credit card company and from what I have read, I need to reply with an Answer. Is this something I should contact a lawyer for or is this something I can complete myself? Main question being, now that I have been served with the summons, how do I proceed?

Look at the instructions on the Summons for deadlines. You may or may not want to hire an attorney.
