Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

A police report was made for car damages and charges are pending. I have submitted an estimate to the police. Can I sell my car prior to the court date and still recover damages?

You would need to show that you discounted the car becuase of the dmage.

Damages are costs that you have incurred by another parties actions. If you have already fixed the vehicle your receipt should be sufficient as evidence of damages.
