Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

DUI 4 years ago

I got a DUI in 2004, had to take

classes, which I did but I never

followed up with my caseworker so I

suppose that violated my probation.

I missed my court date for that but I

never followed up because I was

scared. That was in 2006. My DL is

valid but I want to see what I can do

to correct this...

I agree with the other attorneys who have posted. You need to get an attorney, because you are likely wrong in assuming there is nothing on your record, a warrant out for your arrest, or something. That being said, don't worry too much, its not the end of the world. Just don't ignore it, because if your stopped for speeding and arrested on the side of the road then it becomes a problem.

1. In what county was the DUI prosecuted? 2. HOW do you know that your DL is valid?

3. Do you know if a warrant has issued for your arrest?
