Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Can I really get arrested on a bench warrant from New York when I live in Illinois? It's over child support for a little girl that doesn't have my last name or anything. I'm not even on the birth certificate. Would they really pursue some thing like that?

It is unlikely that NY would pay to pay you transported back there. But they can start a UIFSA case against you here to enforce the order.
