how do I get my contested divorce case dismissed? what grounds can i use for dismissal?

If you are the Petitioner and the Respondent has not filed a counter-Petition, you can dismiss your case if you tender the other side the cost of their appearance - it is called voluntary dismissal. If you are not the Petitioner or there is a counter-Petition, the dismissal must be by agreement or it is not going to happen.
